Joe Marino Memorial Alumni and Friends Scholarship Golf Outing

The Joe Marino Scholarship celebrates the inspiring life and never-quit spirit of Joe Marino. This scholarship is awarded by Benedictine High School to incoming and currently enrolled Benedictine students who meet the criteria established by Alison Marino and outlined in The Joseph A. Marino ’78 – High Top Memorial Scholarship Fund application. The scholarship award is applied toward the recipient(s) tuition for the upcoming academic year.

The scholarship fund was created to help talented and deserving Men of Benedictine by providing financial support for their Benedictine education and to do so for those who best meet the criteria defined herein.  A minimum of $5,000 will be awarded annually once the scholarship is fully funded.  The $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to 4 recipients beginning with the 2016-2017 school year and every year thereafter.

Each summer, the friends, family, and former classmates of Joe gather to celebrate his legacy and continue to fund the scholarship for future Men of Benedictine. This year will be the 5th Annual Joe Marino Memorial Alumni and Friends Scholarship Golf Outing and will be held at Red Tail Golf Club in Avon on Thursday, June 3rd.
