#MARCOSTRONG
Dear Benedictine Families and Friends,
For those who are unaware, Marco Kaiser ‘21 has been battling leukemia for several years. It is the ALL version called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which has a high success cure rate. For the most part, he has been able to attend classes at Benedictine and participate in extracurricular activities. From time to time, he has had to disrupt his routine with an occasional hospital stay. After recent discussions with Marco and the Kaiser Family, we have learned that he will be away from campus for an extended period of time. As you can imagine, this presents a number of challenges.
Before he left campus, Marco was in great spirits. He continues to battle this disease with a delicate blend of grit and grace. His family, teachers, and classmates will continue to rally around him, and we invite you to do the same in whichever ways you are able. We are behind you, Marco. #MarcoStrong
Sincerely,
