Remik Niewiarowski Named Head Soccer Coach
With previous coaching experiences at Firestone HS, Akron City NPSL, and his current role as coach for the Cuyahoga Valley Soccer Academy (CVSA), Niewiarowski brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. Recognized by his peers for his contributions, he was honored as the Assistant Coach of the Year by the Greater Cleveland Soccer Coaches Association (GCSSCA)last season. Remik is a current employee of Benedictine serving as a Directed Study Hall Tutor.
John Carter, the Athletic Director, expressed excitement about Remik’s appointment, stating, “We are extremely pleased and excited to announce Remik as our soccer coach. Niewiarowski’s extensive background in teaching and coaching soccer, coupled with his collegiate playing experience at Notre Dame College (2016-2021), makes him an ideal fit for the position.” Carter also highlighted Remi’s adeptness in fostering relationships and his integral role within the program.
We are confident in his ability, work ethic, and communication skills that he will create a learning environment for our student-athletes and provide the necessary leadership to grow the program. Last year, the Bengals were 15-3-1 and lost in the District Semifinals, with most of the letterman returning next season.
